What is art camp?
art camp is a Bible Study and Art Workshop for GIRLS entering 3rd through 8th grade. Each day we will study the Bible together and create wonderful art projects inspired by what we have studied.
art camp is a Monday - Friday day camp experience that offers Bible Study, an extensive art project each day that goes along with the study, skits, dance, games, and more!
This ALL GIRL camp is a safe place to have fun, be yourself, and learn about God!

thou art exalted
Thou Art Exalted is a ministry out of Jacksonville, FL that combines the study of God's Word with the infusion of art to help tween and teen girls know Christ. We have LOVED using the curriculum created by Thou Art Exalted. It is fun and beautiful and true and good. We have also loved to see how the ministry has grown through the years. There are many great resources for parents, students, and churches to check out on their website www.thouartexalted.com.
our counselors
Our counselors are fun, creative, kind, energetic young women who love Jesus and want to teach younger girls how to know Him more. High School and College-aged women give their talents and energy to making our camp week special for the campers. Each small group of campers has their own set of counselors who look after them all week! It is so awesome to see older girls pouring into the lives of our young campers. Our counselors are background checked and trained each year to insure they are up to date on how to properly care for your daughter while she is at camp.
We will begin taking applications in March 2023 for Lead Counselors (completed high school) and
Volunteer Junior Counselors (completed 8th grade)

This year's art camp theme is
A SEED TO SOW!
A SEED TO SOW explores the Parable of the Sower in Luke 8:1-15.
Each lesson looks at a fungus and an opposite fertilizer. The fungus represents all that takes your heart and mind away from God, while the fertilizer is the active ingredient that keeps your heart and mind focused on God. A SEED TO SOW will give you the gardening tools you need to prepare the soil of your heart to receive His Word.

We are so grateful to Christ Community Church for supporting our Art Camp efforts. In 2010, we approached the church with the idea of starting a Christian Art Camp for girls in Gainesville, FL. CCC had a brand new building and had not used it for an Art Camp before. There were a lot of details to figure out, but the church believed that the camp was important and helped us in any way they could. Not until the summer of 2012 were we able to offer our first art camp, BRAVE. With 24 campers, we had an amazing week! Every year since, our camp has grown in number. And every year since, CCC has grown in its love and support in what we are doing. Thank you! We could not have Art Camp without a wonderful church like CCC!
